PAB General Meeting Minutes
PAB General Meeting
August 11, 2011
Welcome and introduction of directors and board members.
No treasurer's report or previousPlease Check Back soon for minutes to share or approve.
Mrs. Paley shared the purpose and importance of the Performing Arts Booster
club and how to join.
T-Shirt Orders:
Mrs. Phelps reminded members to check to see that their students' shirts from
last year still fit. The new order will be placed in September for those
needing to purchase one.
Sponsorship Forms will go home with chorus and band students.
NY Trip Information:
Mrs. Phelps shared information about the cost and itinerary for the New York
Trip and we watched the Heritage Festival video. This information is detailed
in the handout.
Money will be collected beginning this evening for those who are interested.
A $100.00 deposit is due by September 1st.
Anyone wishing to chaperone must be a member ofmost recent PAB and be a cleared Craven
County Schools volunteer. Information on becoming a volunteerMeeting. Our Next Scheduled Meeting is available on
the Craven County Schools website (www.craven.k12.nc.us). Print out the form
and send it to Angela FrazierThursday, August 9th at Central Services for a background check.
Anyone who has been cleared does not need to repeat the process. Please see
Mrs. Conway or a school employee for more information if needed or to verify
that you are on the volunteer list.
There will be some after school rehearsals6:30pm in preparation for the festival.
